Our Cacao Powder (aka Cocoa Powder) is easily digestible because of our cold pressed extraction method. This method retains all the necessary nutrients in cacao. This product differs from our Full-Spectrum Cacao Powder, which has not been separated from its natural fat content (40% – 50% natural cacao butter).  But the fat content inside cacao contains oleic acid, a heart-healthy monounsaturated fat, also found in olive oil, that may raise good cholesterol.

Our beans are specially fermented for less than 3 days.  This creates less acidity.  Research has shown that less days of fermentation means more flavanols are maintained in the chocolate.  Our cocoa powder is 22% fat, which maintains the flavor and nutritional content of high-percentage cacao, with the ease-of-use and versatility of a instant mix store bought "cocoa" powder. 

Our beans are organically grown and more than fair-trade.  We are continually working with our grower to protect the region and educate people in their area.
