Buon Gusto's Limited Edition Olio Nuovo, or “New Oil” is the best, freshest, unfiltered olive oil from the first days of the Olive harvest. Because the oil is so new, it is stronger, spicier, fruitier, and just generally more intense than the Extra Virgin Olive Oil that we have later.

Since this oil is so fresh, it is meant to be used quickly! Because there are solids in the Olio Nuovo that can ferment quickly, it is meant to be used only within a couple months of opening.

They only make 100 bottles of this oil made from mostly Frantoio olives and once it’s gone it’s gone. So be sure to get one of these bottles and treat yourself to good health and Buon Gusto!

Our Cacao Beans are Different

We use an old technique called the Mayan method where the beans are less acidic and less bitter while maintaining a higher level of antioxidants. Taste the difference.

Our beans are specially fermented for less than 3 days. This creates less acidity. Research has shown that less days of fermentation means more flavanols are maintained in the chocolate.
