Not your ordinary chocolate butter! We use real cacao nibs and not cocoa powder so all the antioxidants and benefits of eating cacao carry over to our chocolate butters. We do the work of grinding our organic nibs up for you! All our nibs are minimally fermented so you receive more nutrients from cacao. Studies have shown that the more days cacao is fermented the less antioxidants inside chocolate.
Lightly toasted almonds go into the stone grinder with cacao nibs, a touch of salt and sugar. Similar to your all-natural nut butters at home, Almond Cacao Butter will harden and separate. This is because there are NO additional oils such as palm oil, cacao butter, or fruit oil. Separation is normal, and there is an easy fix! Just heat up your jar in the microwave for 20 seconds and stir. For Almond Butter Packets, before consuming lightly knead with hands to re-melt and enjoy! Both Jar and Packets stay fresh for 6 months at room temperature.
